    cool & rainy again!! Yuck.

    Mom & Dad, K & L were here for Father's Day, then R & D came over for the evening. M made up his yummy steaks on the barbque again. Mmmm!

    Were going to head to the lake last night, but L had a science project to work on, so didn't. Think Mom & dad are going tommorrow to hook up the water and clean things up a bit.

    Can't figure out what to have for supper.

    Ha! The sun is finally peeking through! Boy, has it been raining here for the last day or so. We needed it, but man, does it need to get so cold every time it rains? We were down to 7 yesterday.

    went to the antique store - bought a "dutch girl" cookie jar, and a '50's type tablecloth for the cabin.

    Met up with brother-in-law at chinese buffet for a late lunch. Still raining.

    raining today, so we had to cancel the concrete pour!! Oh, well, it was a nice cozy morning to sleep late - nothing like snuggling under the blankets and listening to the rain!

    Beth's mom passed away during the night.

    Might go to the antique mall later today.

    My goodness, it's cool out today, and windy!! Didn't do a lot today, had a sinus headache. Made unbaked cookies and banana cake. Talked to C.

    Sports day today in town. L & Amanda are out socializing at the park.

    Beth called to hospital, her mom has heart failure.

    ahh...a thunder storm. Hope it rains for awhile - we sure could use the moisture. Our water bill is going to be a killer this time round!

    just got back from Mom& Dad's. Aunt Grace had made a bride doll for me and wanted me to come & get it. Had lemonade & visited for awhile.

    Ok - this is a first for me, and I wonder who will even read this, but oh well. Worth a shot - you never know where this will lead.

    Been reading lots of others LJ's - some fascinating, some not :) some downright obscene, some by young kids. I'm not a kid, not obscene, and likely not fascinating.

    Oh well, this will mostly be occasional updates on my day-to-day life.

    Was going to take C's car back to her, but when we stopped for gas, M noticed that there was still a leak. We ended up taking it back to the shop. So she's got our car for awhile longer!

    Bought some new bedding plants today, some geraniums, carpet of snow, and 4 asters. Haven't planted them yet, kinda cool & windy out.

    The newly seeded lawn is FINALLY starting to fill in a bit. Wish it would hurry!!

    Finally spent some time today cleaning out the back porch - looks so neat and organized now, and no gravel pit to wade through to get outside! Ok it wasn't that bad, but....

    K was here yesterday to clean the house, so now everything is looking pretty good. Should be doing some laundry, though, I guess.

    Judge Judy is a re-run, so watching Oprah!! Not too New-Agey today.
